 Welcome To Sunset King RV Resort
 
If relaxing in the sun, good fishing, sightseeing, or just plain congeniality is in your plans, then visit us for a while at Sunset King.  We are located in the Florida Panhandle, approximately 40 miles north of Destin and Ft Walton Beach on the Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico (Click HERE for map & directions).  Sunset King Lake Rv Resort is easy and convenient to get to, and is in a rural setting, away from all the highway noises that you sometimes have to put up with at other campgrounds.
 
Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shell-cracker, and bream.  Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder.  Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions. 

The "big ones" in this photo (10+ lbs) were caught the weekend of July 18th, 2009.   Two more 10 + pounders were caught the next weekend.
 
We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the "Big "Rigs", with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV.  WIFI is also available ($).
 
You can relax in our quiet atmosphere or spend time with friendly neighbors and have the companionship of fellow RVers.  Come to the clubhouse for a bite to eat, play some games, work on crafts, read a book, or just look out over the beautiful lake and surrounding countryside.
 
There are many planned activities to keep you as busy as you want to be, including Ice Cream Socials, bingo, hot dogs by the bonfire, a pot luck Sunday lunch, and more!  Good food, good times, and good friends.  It's all waiting for you here at Sunset King lake RV Resort.  The members even have their own website at www.panhandlecamper.com.  Check it out for the latest news and events at the park.
